Threat at Coxsackie-Athens High School

Daniel Zuckerman reports in Columbia-Greene Media about yet another student school threat. Perhaps it is Halloween nearing or just the national temperature rising, but on Oct. 29 there were two incidents at local schools. The latest to be reported had a Coxsackie-Athens High School student charged with making a terroristic threat on social media. That is a class D felony. The day before, at Cairo-Durham High School, a student brought a BB gun to class. In Coxsackie, the student posted a video on Snapchat Oct. 29 threatening to blow up the school, and is being charged as an adult. Another student notified school officials Oct. 30.
