Confusion about Pittsfield refugee plan

Patricia LeBoeuf reports in The Berkshire Eagle that Jewish Family Service of Western Massachusetts organization now does not know if or when 50 refugees, mainly from Syrian and Iraq, may be settled as planned in Pittsfield. While the program was approved in January, the president's Executive Order, now on hold in the courts, has created confusion. "People are coming in, but we have no idea how long it will last," said the group's president Maxine Stein. "I'm very, very optimistic that Pittsfield will become a refugee resettlement community.
