Join local scientists and authors Robert and Johanna Titus for "The Catskills in the Ice Age," for a lesson in reading the Catskill landscape. Ever wonder why our Catskill terrain looks so different from one area to another? The Tituses have made the study the Catskill landscape their work for 30 years. They will speak at the Mountain Top Historical Society on their recent research documented in the Third, Revised Edition of “The Catskills in the Ice Age.” It has been 16 years since the last edition was published and the new book is greatly expanded and rewritten. Journey with them back in time to see advancing glaciers passing into and across our Catskills and how those glaciers shaped and reshaped the landscape into what we see and enjoy so much today.
