On Saturday, July 22, join us for a day of Percussion at the Marimba Tree with performances by percussionists Lisa Schonberg with Leah Bowden and Melanie Medina; Azouke Legba with special guests; Chris Corsano; and Bobby Previte.

1 p.m. Lisa Schonberg with Leah Bowden and Melanie Medina, improvisation with percussion and electronics, with sounds of insects amplified through sculptures on site.
2 p.m. Azouke Legba with special guests, Gamelan performance with marimba tree and water drum.
3 p.m. Chris Corsano, improvised solo performance for bark, branch, trunk, and suspended objects.

UPSTATE ART WEEKEND (UPAW) is a connective annual event, for locals and tourists alike, celebrating the cultural vibrancy of Upstate New York. The fourth edition of UPAW will take place Friday, July 21, through Monday, July 24, 2023.

UPAW launched in 2020 with 23 participants, expanding to over 130 in 2023, welcoming thousands of visitors to the region each year. The participants are art organizations, galleries, museums, residencies, and creative projects.
