Educator and author Ellen Condliffe Lagemann will speak on “Liberating Minds,” her book advocating for a free college education for everyone in prison. Potluck at 6 p.m.; reading at 7 p.m. Lagemann is the Levy Institute Research Professor at Bard College, where she is also the Distinguished Fellow in the Bard Prison Initiative. She formerly served as dean of the Harvard Graduate School of Education. She is the author or editor of eleven books. Open to the public.
