Bobby Previte's Blueprints. Hudson valley composer Bobby Previte leads a conceptual performance, with webcasts at wgxc.org and wavefarm.org. Previte has invited some of his favorite musicians in the Hudson Valley and beyond for these inaugural concerts of his newest project, Blueprints. Starting from 1979 and going forward up to the present moment, Previte has ripped a fragment of nearly every piece of music he has written in the last 39 years and placed them all, divorced from their previous context, into one (very long) document. The ensemble will play, distort, improvise around, and sometimes ignore these fragments. Using hand signals, body movements, and the occasional odd glare, Previte conducts the musicians through the maze, taking a different path every night. Part performance, part open rehearsal, part hang out - where audience members as well as players will see the fragments projected on screen - Blueprints should be a wildly different experience each performance. Capital Region advocates and families impacted by the overdose crisis will observe International Overdose Awareness Day (IOAD) by remembering those lost to overdose, and demand action to prevent future deaths. Speakers will focus on harm reduction, treatment, recovery, racial equity, and other issues/approaches central to preventing future deaths and harm. Celtic band makes their first-ever appearance in "Little Ireland" in The Catskills. Hosted by Gavin's Irish Country Inn in East Durham.

The 2nd Annual Taste of East Durham will be held at McGrath's Edgewood Falls, 1848 Route 145 in East Durham. Featuring local businesses, Guinness pint-personalized etching, craft beer breweries, food trucks, psychic, and crafts vendors. September 1 from 3 to 8 p.m.

Hosted by the Naked Swim Team Sessions out of Hudson. Fame Swaz is a rapper and artist located in Hudson. His newest video "Like AKI*" is out now. Remyx LeRebel has been rapping and making beats for over 10 years in Hudson, with work on soundcloud and youtube. Ifetayo is a poet and a visual artist that lives in Hudson.

All are welcome to join the First Reformed Church of Catskill and the United Methodist Church of Catskill for a service on the water, at the Historic Catskill Point.

Second Ward Foundation & Hudson Hall present “Rough Cut,” a video screening from the Jungle Red Archives. Presented in conjunction with the current exhibition on view at Hudson Hall, "Episodic Memory 1977 – present" by Francine Hunter McGivern, which runs through September 9.

Greg Fox is a multi-instrumentalist, interdisciplinary artist, and teacher born and based in New York City. A versatile and prolific creative, Fox studied percussion with Guy Licata, Thurman Barker, Marvin “Bugalu” Smith, has a B.A. in Integrated Arts from Bard College, and has toured, recorded and released numerous records with Liturgy, Guardian Alien, ZS, Ex Eye, Skeletons, Teeth Mountain, Dan Deacon, Colin Stetson, Ben Frost, and many more.
