WGXC volunteer Tanya B attended the opening day for the new Vanderbilt House Hotel in Philmont on Monday, April 18, where she interviewed owner Bob Mansfield about his plans, what it takes to open a new business in our region, and what some are calling the Philmont Renaissance, something he said he's glad to be a part of. In this first clip here he speaks of his memories of the historic hotel and what led him to open it as a new business. The hotel, which will soon offer rooms, is located at 161 Main Street in Philmont.
