"Bitter Seeds" examines the causes of an epidemic of farmer suicides in India, and how the the use of genetically modified cotton seeds has caused a fatal debt crisis. The moderator for the evening was Carol Ash, President of the Carey Center for Global Good. In this recording, Carol moderates a panel/audience discussion. Panelists include: Carol Clement from Heather Ridge Farm in Potter Hollow, NY, and George Weld, the chef/owner of Egg Restaurant and Parish Hall in New York City and the owner of Goatfell Farm in Oak Hill, NY.
