EAI is pleased to announce the availability of films and videos by Nancy Holt and Robert Smithson.
Smithson is recognized as one of the most influential American artists of the 20th century. A seminal figure in land art, Smithson, who died in 1973, radically redefined notions of sculpture through his earthworks, photoworks and writings. Holt is a pioneer of earthworks and public art who is best known for her large-scale environmental sculptures. She has also worked in installation, film, video, and photography for over three decades. Their film and video works include collaborations, individual projects, and documents.
