4 a.m.: No "Low Power Hour" this week. "The RAIN Report" Hosted from Chicago by Hap Holly, KC9RP. This week: "The late ham radio icon Wayne Green/W2NSD is remembered." Also "Amateur Radio Relay League" weekly audio report. This week: "In this week’s report: FCC closes its doors as a result of the Government Shutdown; Amateur Radio prepares for Tropical Storm Karen; and the First IARU Region 2 Emergency Communications Workshop takes place in Cancun, Mexico."
