In the first hour, conversations with Kelly A. Thompson, residency manager of the CATWALK Institute's Art Residency and Research Programs in Catskill, NY; and with film writer/director Jennie Allen, currently teaching at Columbia University, who is a Catskill resident and recipient of a Community Arts grant. In the second hour, an interview with two artists currently in residence at the CATWALK program: Poet Emily Skillings, a teaching fellow at Columbia University and author of "Fort Not" (forthcoming in 2017); and writer/visual artist Adam Webster, a lecturer at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago (SAIC). The WGXC Afternoon Show features local news, interviews with community leaders and personalities, a rundown of local and regional events, weather updates, and more, about and for the community.
