The Greene County Industrial Development Agency Board declared Jan. 19 the Draft Generic Environmental Impact Statement complete for the development project in Catskill near Exit 21 of the I-87 Thruway and set a public hearing on the proposal. The IDA wants to create a shovel-ready development site on 64 acres, taking advantage of the two largest roads in Greene County, and new sewer service, added through a current project in Jefferson Heights. A public hearing about the proposal will be at 6 p.m. Feb. 8 at the Catskill Town Hall. Written public comments are accepted through Feb. 19 sent to the IDA at 270 Mansion Street, Coxsackie, NY 12051.
