Stewart international terminal nearly completed

MidHudsonNews [dot] com is reporting the 20,000-square-foot international arrivals wing on the New York Stewart International Airport terminal building is on schedule to be completed by fall. The addition is being constructed at the cost of $37 million, said Stewart business development director Michael Torelli. “The shell is totally up. The finishes on the inside is being worked on and the ramp areas on the outside and the parking lot are being concreted and paved,” he said. “All the amenities are being ordered for furniture and fixtures and as you can imagine, signage.” As of now, the addition will be unused once finished, because Stewart has no international service.
