Spotty Dog Books & Ale has become one of the area’s most promising small venues as of late, and this WGXC-co-sponsored show by Brooklyn’s Bryan Zimmerman fits well with the shop’s overriding low-key coolness. Zimmerman, an interdisciplinary artist/photographer perhaps best known for his work with skewed underground Americana unit the Dust Dive, here celebrates the release of "Corpse of Discovery" (2010, free103point9 Records), a collaborative effort that also features Jason Lowenstein (Sebadoh, Fiery Furnaces).
