Talks continue about floating Kingston concert venue

Paul Kirby reports in The Daily Freeman that on Aug. 4 Robert Bordeau, founder of the American Wind Symphony Orchestra, is meeting in Kingston about possibly relocating a floating concert venue to the Hudson River city. Buffalo, and cities in France and Italy, are also talking to Bordeau about moving the floating concert stage there. In a previous article in the Chicago Tribune Bordeau said that Kingston “is a perfect place” for the Point Counterpoint II boat because the community is “going through a very creative time.” Read the full story in The Daily Freeman.
