One final note, re: #NY19 - 17k @nydems came out to support @ZephyrTeachout & Yandik as opposed to only 13.7k for the GOP. Enthusiasm gap?

Timothy Knight from The Watershed Post reports that more Democrats than Republicans turned out for the June 28 primary election. He reports 17,000 Democratic votes (out of 133,179 enrolled), mostly for Zephyr Teachout, and 13.7 thousand Republican votes (out of 134,877), mostly for John Faso. Faso beat Andrew Heaney, and Teachout defeated Will Yandik. The two face off in November to take over for Chris Gibson (R-Kinderhook) representing the 19th Congressional District.
