Porcupine Soup reports that Catskill residents Doreen Davis and Kelly Konsul were named to the Columbia-Greene Community College Board of Trustees, it was announced this week. Davis does not have an education background, but is a former Town of Catskill supervisor and retired pharmaceutical executive who is running for a seat on the Greene County Legislature this year. Konsul has served as a school counselor at Catskill Senior High School. “Doreen fills a vacancy with an incredible resume and familiarity with the College, through her many years organizing and supporting our annual gala,” Ned Schneier, Ph.D., chair of the Columbia-Greene Community College Board of Trustees said. “Kelly gives us hands-on experience in our continuing attempts to improve our student outreach.
