Anthony Fiducia is reporting for Columbia-Greene Media the Catskill Village Board voted Wed., Sep. 27, to prohibit parking on the even side of Main Street in Catskill from Greene Street to the exit road from Dutchmen’s Landing. The decision was based on a number of variables including the number of parking spots available, the number of driveways on each side of the road, and traffic flow. The current speed limit on the portion of the road in question is 20 mph. The village residents Fiducia spoke with generally reacted positively to the decision.
