Disaster relief passes House

Kyle Glazier in Capitol Confidential reports that the U.S. House of Representatives Thursday passed a budget compromise bill including $338 million in agriculture disaster relief and $6 million for rural high-speed internet. Rep. Chris Gibson (R, Kinderhook), and other Hudson Valley representatives Bill Owens (D-Plattsburgh) and Rep. Paul Tonko (D-Amsterdam) voted for the bill, which passed 298-121.
