Greenville school construction begins

Daniel Zuckerman reports for Columbia-Greene Media that the ongoing construction at Greenville schools will stop soon because of cold weather, and resume in the spring. Currently work is ongoing on the $9.5 million construction project, with classroom renovations and improvements on athletic fields. “Ground has been broken — they are back there right now working on it,” Greenville Central School District Superintendent Tammy Sutherland said. “We’re very excited that the project has already started, because we’ve lost the summer.” Improvements include renovating the science rooms, and modernising the heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems.
