MidHudson News is reporting Dutchess County lawmakers have approved the appointment of Caroline Blackburn as Dutchess County Attorney. Blackburn is the first woman to hold the position. None of the five of the Democrats responded to a request for comment seeking an explanation of their vote. Read the full story at MidHudsonNews [dot] com.
