Hudson's Walker named Times Union All-Star

James Allen is reporting in the Times Union Hudson High School varsity running back Willie Walker has been named a Times Union football All-Star. Allen writes that Walker, who is also one of Hudson's three quarterbacks, is "...an exceptional open-field runner." The 11th-grader led the Bluehawks to the Section II Class B Super Bowl this season. The Reinfurt Division Player of the Year ran the ball 152 times for 1,260 yards and 16 touchdowns. Walker's teammate, senior tackle Kimedrick Murphy, along with Taconic Hills senior guard Josh Ferris, were named to the Times Union second team. Read the full story in the Times Union.
