May 08, 2019 1:15 pm
Sarah Trafton is reporting for Columbia-Greene Media Cairo-Durham High School graduate Connor Quinn, 29, of Albany, will compete this week on “Jeopardy.” After being selected for an in-person interview in Philadelphia 10 years ago for the college round of the syndicated game show, Quinn was determined to be selected. “I was taking the online test every year and had almost given up in my mind,” he said. Quinn learned in February that he was one of 15 teachers in the United States chosen to compete on the show's two-week teacher tournament. Connor is an Advanced Placement World History teacher at Troy Prep School. The show was taped in Cobra City, California, in early April. Quinn is not permitted to share the results of the show before it airs at 7:30 p.m., May 9, on the local ABC affiliate, WTEN-TV. Read the full story at HudsonValley360 [dot] com.
