Lottery reports record $3.17 billion for education

James Odato is reporting at Capitol Confidential the New York State Gaming Commission on Thurs., June 5, reported lottery games resulted in more than $9 billion in gambling. That resulted in a profit of nearly $3.2 billion for education, a 4.2 percent increase over the 2012-13 fiscal year. Video lottery terminal players alone generated $916 million in profit.
