Stewart airport headed for record year

MidHudsonNews [dot] com is reporting the number of passengers projected to be served at New York Stewart International Airport this year is expected to exceed 600,000. During the first 10 months of 2018, 576,400 people used the airport for travel. Airport Business Development Director Michael Torelli told the Stewart Airport Commission November 27 the months of November and December will likely drive that number even higher. Torelli said Stewart will probably be used by an additional 100,000 travelers before January 1, the highest number since 2007. The high volume is due in large part to the nonstop European flights by Norwegian Air Lines, as well as additional service by Allegiant Air. Read the full story at MidHudsonNews [dot] com.
