Mar 17, 2021 6:33 am
Paul Kirby reports in the Daily Freeman that a new state-run COVID vaccination site at the Ulster County Fairgrounds in New Paltz will open March 19, County Executive Pat Ryan said. Appointments for shots there will be taken beginning March 17 at the state's website, covid19vaccine.health.ny.gov. Those state vaccines will be given out from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. on March 19 at the new site. Besides the new state-run vaccine facility, Ulster County got fewer vaccine doses this week, 3,770 doses, compared with last week's 4,310. The Times Union also reported that there were open appointments available at several locations in Columbia and Albany counties on March 16. Read more about this story in the Daily Freeman.
