Monday Musical Matinee: A Little Light Music
90.7-FM in NY's Upper Hudson Valley and wgxc.org/listen everywhere

704 Columbia St., Floor 2 | Hudson, NY 12534

Hosted by Lincoln Mayorga.
This broadcast will feature light-hearted music by: Victor Steinhardt, pianist and composer, and his violinist brother Arnold, who was principal of the Guarneri Quartet; Alec Templeton, blind British pianist, who did several very clever parodies including the shortest Wagnerian opera, an Italian opera called "Jello Jella", an out-of-tune Gilbert and Sullivan operetta; and Loony Tunes music from Warner Brothers cartoons composed by Carl Stalling between 1936 and 1958… Th-th-th-that's all, folks!
Join Columbia County residents Lincoln Mayorga and Sheri Bauer-Mayorga for two hours each Monday for WGXC's Monday Musical Matinee: a program which draws on 1,000 years of music categorized as "classical" and "jazz." He's a true romantic, she's a little bit avant garde, and they both go for baroque.
