Andrew Cuomo is planning a two-day conference on government response to disasters and emergencies, with a lot more emphasis, it seems, on "terrorism" and less on the sort of emergency one might expect, or wait for, in Greene County. The Governor’s Summit on Emergency Preparedness Oct. 29 and 30 at the state convention center in Albany will be paid for by the Division of Homeland Security and Emergency Services, and will feature former British Prime Minister Tony Blair and CNN’s national security analyst Peter Bergen, who once interviewed Osama Bin Laden.
