Usually when New York Attorney General Letitia James and President Donald Trump are in the same sentence, it is about another investigation being launched into alleged malfeasance. But on April 24, James just about cheered Trump, releasing a statement in response to the President's remarks about the opioid crisis. "Today, President Trump called attention to the magnitude of the opioid crisis. We welcome all meaningful efforts to address the opioid epidemic. Working together, we must remain focused on delivering justice to those whose lives have been ravaged by opioids and providing relief and support to those who need it."
