Coxsackie's Hi-Way Drive (with audio on several FM frequencies) has been open for weeks, and when the Greenville Drive-In (with audio at 88.7-FM) re-opens May 6, it will be with a new beer garden. South African jazz vocalist Vuyo Sotashe performs in the new beer garden there before a screening of "Breakfast at Tiffany's." The Hi-Way Drive-In in Coxsackie has eight new films on four screens, with occasional special events, such as their annual fall zombie film fest. Dutchess County has three, with the Amenia Drive-In (with audio on 104.5-FM) is also open at 4957 Route 22 at Route 44, and the Hyde Park Drive-In (with audio at 87.9-FM) at 4114 Albany Post Road, and the Overlook Drive-In Theatre at 126 Degarmo Road between Routes 44 and 55 in Poughkeepsie. Rensselaer County has the Hollywood Drive-In at 9254 State Route 66 in Averill Park, one screen with two new movies per night (and sound on 88.1-FM).
