Committee looks for memorial donations

W.T. Eckert reports in The Daily Mail a committee established two years ago to raise money, design, and erect a Greene County Emergency Services Memorial Wall is still trying to raise the funds needed to complete the project. A marker located between Mountain Ave. and the Greene County Emergency Services Building in Cairo indicates the site for the memorial, which will consist of three large, standing stones displaying the names of deceased Greene County firefighters, law enforcement and emergency medical personnel.
