The Columbia Greene Hospital Foundation has announced the appointment of Barbara Klassen as its Executive Director. The foundation is the philanthropic partner of Columbia Memorial Health. Klassen comes to the position with more than 20 years of experience in healthcare fundraising, community relations and marketing. She was previously executive director of the Benedictine Health Foundation in Kingston, according to a statement released by the hospital, April 8. “Barbara’s extensive experience in not-for-profit healthcare fundraising and community relations is a great fit for Columbia Memorial Health,” said Patti Matheney, chair of the Columbia-Greene Hospital Foundation. “The board of trustees is pleased to welcome someone with her knowledge and expertise to advance our Foundation’s important work as we continue to grow and support CMH.” Columbia Memorial Health President and CEO Jay P.
