John McDonald, the Assemblymember of the 108th Assembly District Tweeted July 21 that, "the Governor's office has requested the Assembly to send over A9568/S6824," signaling he will sign the bill that allows residents of Hoosick Falls to sue because of chemical contaminations linked to superfund sites. Matthew Hamilton in Capitol Confidential also reports that the congressional committee investigating the Hoosick Falls water contamination issue has allowed Gov. Andrew Cuomo’s administration more time to turn over documents related to the case. Cuomo will send Congress a first batch of documents next week.
