HudsonValley360.com reports that an unknown substance in the mailroom at the Greene Correctional Facility in Coxsackie caused two people to be taken to the hospital on Sept. 7. The story only quotes "authorities" and does not say if the two people taken to Albany Medical Center were inmates or guards. Hazardous materials response teams from Greene and Columbia counties were sent to the medium-security prison, along with a number of local fire companies.
