Columbia County Fair looking for talent

The Daily Freeman is reporting performers of all ages are being encouraged to enter a talent competition at the 176th annual Columbia County Fair. Singers, dancers, bands and more are being sought to participate in the “Columbia County’s Got Talent” show at noon, Aug. 31 at the Chatham Fairgrounds. The top six performers in each division will return to the stage at 7 p.m. that evening for the final competition and awards ceremony. The finalists will be competing for the Marilyn Barry Memorial Award. Performers can apply in any of the three divisions: Junior, age 12 and under; Teen, age 13 to 19; and Adult, age 20 and older.
