Albany, Dutchess, Ulster counties announce new COVID-19 deaths
Paul Kirby reports in the Daily Freeman about three more local COVID-19 deaths. Dutchess County reported two more COVID-19 deaths on Nov. 30, and Ulster County reported one more. And on Nov. 30 Ulster County reported 9.6 percent of the most recent 1,110 tests for coronavirus in the county came back positive. Ulster County has not had a positivity rate above 9 percent since Jan. 21, when very few vaccinations were available. Dutchess County on Nov. 30 only reported a four percent positivity rate. Meanwhile, Columbia County reported 61 new cases on Nov. 30, and 46 more the day before. And Greene County added another 44 cases on Nov. 30, and 52 more on Nov. 29. Albany County announced another death and 211 more positive cases on Dec. 1. Rensselaer County added 125 new cases on Dec. 1. Read more about this story in the Daily Freeman.
