August was hot in the Hudson Valley

The National Weather Service in Albany reports that August 2016 was, historically, very warm in the Hudson Valley. In Albany, it was the eighth warmest August, in Glens Falls it was the fourth warmest recorded August, and in Poughkeepsie it was the second warmest ever.
