Jun 07, 2019 12:11 am
Tim Martin, the Sports Editor at Hudson's Register-Star, Tweets that the Ichabod Crane and Chatham softball teams that both won Section II championships this week, both won June 6 regional playoff games 14-2, and both games were stopped in the sixth inning because of the mercy rule. ICC's Isabella Milazzo, who was named the Colonial Council Most Valuable Player this year gave up just three hits and struck out ten without a walk in Ichabod Crane's win over Ogdensburg. The Chatham softball team beat Ticonderoga, and will next play St. Lawrence at 1 p.m. June 8 at Suny Potsdam.
