Planned Parenthood opens new center

David Lee reports in The Columbia Paper that Upper Hudson Planned Parenthood opened its new facility at 804 Columbia Street on March 25, with Congressperson Antonio Delgado and Assemblymember Didi Barrett present. The new facility has four patient rooms, an abortion recovery room, behavioral health care, and counseling offices, and a shared teen space and community room for health care, abortion, sexual health education, transgender care, and mental health counseling. “UHPP is committed to providing a place where patients feel valued and respected and to provide the best care, no matter what," Chelly Hegan, UHPP President/CEO, said when the new center was announced last winter.
