Sep 25, 2018 7:45 am
Emilia Teasdale is reporting for The Columbia Paper the Ichabod Crane Board of Education September 17, voted in favor of holding a special election to ask residents to authorize the district's $27 million capital plan. The motion was approved on a vote of 6 to 2, with board members Regina Rose and Jeffrey Ouellette voting "no." Board member Dan Cohn was not present for the special meeting. Voters in the Ichabod Crane Central School District will be asked for permission to construct additions to and reconstruct district buildings and facilities on December 12. The ballot question also gives the district permission to expend $1 million of its fund reserve for the project. Polls will be open 8 a.m. to 9 p.m., December 12 in the high school gym. A link to information on the scope of the project can be found on the newsroom page at WGXC [dot] org. Read the full story in The Columbia Paper.
