The Columbia County Republican Committee and the Columbia County Young Republican Club March 10 announced plans to honor state Sen. Daphne Jordan as the winner of the 2019 Lincoln Award. In a press release, county GOP Chairperson Greg Fingar said, “Senator Daphne Jordan has distinguished herself as a true leader who stands up for taxpayers and fights for what’s right. ...Jordan is fearless, principled, and committed to doing what’s right for a better, safer, more affordable New York. Our Columbia County Republican Committee is pleased to bestow this prestigious honor to our Senator, Daphne Jordan.” The 59th Annual Lincoln Award Dinner will take place Thu., Mar. 19, at Kozel's Restaurant in West Ghent.
