Andrew Amelinckx, the Register-Star's crime reporter who also co-hosts the "Difficult Histories" program on WGXC, is leaving the newspaper for the Berkshire Eagle in Massachusetts. His last day at the paper is May 9, though he will continue to co-host the "Difficult Histories" radio show with Norman Douglas. Recently, the Francesca Olsen left the Register-Star, and the paper's Greene County sister paper, The Daily Mail, lost Colin DeVries.
