Sewage discharge in Catskill Creek Dec. 1

The Village of Catskill Wastewater Treatment Plant released almost 15,000 gallons of "permitted overflow sewage discharge" early Dec. 1 at 135 Main St. into Catskill Creek, according to the state Department of Environmental Conservation. The discharge was caused by the rain, and impacted the fishing area, the DEC report says.
