Several local elections still close

Several local elections will come down to absentee ballots. Here are a few:

HUDSON MAYOR Tiffany Martin Hamilton, Democrat, leads incumbent Republican William Hallenbeck by 36 votes.

CATSKILL SUPERVISOR Democrat Doreen P. Davis, with 1,097 votes, leads Republican incumbent Joseph M. Leggio, who has 1,070.

NEW BALTIMORE HIGHWAY SUPERINTENDENT Republican Alan W. VanWormer leads 523 to 518 to Democrat Denis A. Jordan.

WINDHAM GREENE COUNTY LEGISLATURE Democrat Lori J. Torgersen leads by four with 595 votes to Republican James W. Hitchcock with 591.
