Paul Kirby reports in the Daily Freeman that the Global Climate Strike occurs around the world Friday, and in some parts locally. At 11 a.m. Sept. 20, there will be a rally at Academy Green Park in Kingston. The New Paltz Student and Community Climate Strike walks out at 10 a.m. at the New Paltz Middle School parking lot. Radio Kingston is going off the air between 10 a.m. and 5 p.m. in solidarity. In Rhinebeck, there is a Climate Strike at 1:50 p.m. at Lions Mini Park. The Bard College Climate Strike is at 10 a.m. at the Bard Campus Center, 30 Campus Road. There's also a Climate Strike March and Rally at 11 a.m. at the Sheridan Steam Plant, 79 Sheridan Ave, in Albany, and a Berkshire Climate Rally at noon at the Mason Public Library, 231 Main St. in Great Barrington.
