Tei Carpenter is an architectural designer, educator and founder of Agency—Agency, an award-winning New York City-based architecture and design studio. She is Assistant Professor at the University of Toronto and Adjunct Assistant Professor at Columbia GSAPP. Tei’s design and research work has been supported by the New York State Council on the Arts and has been exhibited at the Storefront for Art and Architecture, the Center for Architecture and the Venice Biennale. In 2018, Agency—Agency was honored as one of the New Practices New York by the American Institute of Architects.

Toshiko Mori is the founder of VisionArc and principal of Toshiko Mori Architect in New York City. She is currently the Robert P. Hubbard Professor in the Practice of Architecture at Harvard University’s Graduate School of Design and was chair of the Department of Architecture from 2002-08. In 2005, she received the Academy Award in Architecture from the American Academy of Arts and Letters, and the Medal of Honor from the AIA New York Chapter. She is a member and former chair of the World Economic Forum’s Global Agenda Council on Design Innovation and a trustee for Architecture for Humanity.

Food Radio is a radio station started by Food New York. For season one, Office Hours, we took over a storefront in Chinatown and interviewed over 50 artists, designers, chefs, architects, entrepreneurs, and one politician, all to find out how they managed to make money doing what they love. The space was open for anyone to visit, hang out, attend workshops and ask questions. All of the interviews were recorded live.
