New York continues losing population

Nick Reisman reports for New York State of Politics that New York lost two Congressional seat in the last census, and is on pace to lose more in 2020. New York lost more population than any state in the country between 2018 and 2019. The state lost 0.4 percent of its population, 76,790 people, in the past two years, according to a Census estimate released Dec. 30. The Empire Center think tank estimates that New York has lost 1.4 million residents since 2010. Read more about this story at New York State of Politics.
