This month’s podcast is a live solo performance from June 2021 in Goshen, NY at the Orange County Arts Council.

It's a field recording, so you’ll be able to hear the environment where I was playing; there’s a little pond, lots of birds talking, and some traffic. It's nice to post an unedited performance like this as a snapshot of where I am creatively. One of the audience members described it as “sonic acupuncture,” which I think is fitting. I hope you enjoy It!

The Errant Space Podcast has been produced monthly since 2015. Its focus is improvised ambient and experimental sounds. It often features interesting collaborations with innovative musicians, as well as studio creations and live performances by Errant Space.

Errant Space is a project of composer/sound artist Craig Chin. Its goal is spatio-temporal dilation through sound. Performances are site-specific, spontaneous compositions influenced by both the physical characteristics of the space they are performed in and the occupants of that space.
