Delaware County passes new ethics policy
Nov 04, 2015 12:02 am
Robert Cairns reports in The Watershed Post that the Delaware County Board of Supervisors updated the county's ethics policy at an Oct. 28 meeting, but has not added a local ethics board. New York State Comptroller Thomas DiNapoli earlier this year complained that county officials were not disclosing their conflicts of interest or filing financial disclosures. “It's being portrayed out there that we're not dealing with any of the issues,” Hancock Supervisor Sam Rowe said. “We're not ignoring the comptroller's report.” The board had indicated it might add an ethics board, but has not taken that action.
