Part of Elliott Street for sale in Catskill
Sep 26, 2019 12:45 am
Sarah Trafton reports for Columbia-Greene Media that Village President Vincent Seeley says that the Catskill Village Board of Trustees voted to sell a portion of Elliott Street. There is not supposed to be driving on this road, which is more like a bit of land between BoxDrop Mattress and Dunkin Donuts at the intersection of Route 385 and Route 9W. Seeley says the village has been allowing people to drive there, though not legally. “Technically, people can’t drive around DropBox Mattress but we let them,” Seeley said. The property is appraised at $18,000. The owner of the Dunkin Donuts plaza has told the town that they would like to add a drive-through, Seeley said. The story does not mention when the property might be sold. Read more about this story at HudsonValley360.com.
